Our Experience With PetFriendly Box
When I opened my first order, I was thrilled to see my dogs’ faces on the labels. And next to Turtle, Rooney, and Candy’s photos were their corresponding dosage recommendations in bold print – I have not come across another pet wellness brand that makes it that easy. I was also happy to find bonus treats in my box, which the dogs sniffed out right away!
I am beyond pleased with my items from PetFriendly Box. We received two different treats – Beefy Bites and Blueberry Muffin – which were both smash hits. The dogs loved the crunchy Beefy Bites, and I loved how there was no unpleasant odor or greasiness. The pups also loved the soft Blueberry Muffin treats, which had a powerful maple aroma even through the packaging, and all three dogs were drawn to these as soon as I opened our box!
For oral supplements, we received both Mobility and Daily chews, though PetFriendly Box recommended not to use these at the same time due to the abundance of glucosamine in both products. I was advised to use the Mobility first for pets with joint issues, then later switch to the Daily, which has slightly less glucosamine. Fortunately, the Mobility chews do feature other nutrients in addition to those that target joint health, so it still felt like I was giving my senior dog, Turtle, a multivitamin. Since my other two pups, Rooney and Candy, are younger dogs with no known joint issues, I started them out on the Daily chews instead, which are a great supplement for overall health and vitality. Now that the dogs have been taking their supplements for a few weeks, I have seen increased energy levels in all three, proof to me that these products are doing their job!
We also tried out the Brilliant daily dental gel that promises to freshen breath, whiten teeth, and fight plaque with special ProLONG™ technology. I found the applicator stick convenient to use, and the dogs loved the taste. While I can’t tell if it genuinely whitens teeth, I did notice an improvement in their breath right away.
Finally, we received Squeaky ear wipes. Ear cleaning is something I know I should do more, but it never seems convenient to round up tissues, cotton balls, and ear cleaner. Plus, the dogs hate having any liquid squirted into their ear canals. The tissue on my finger falls apart. And I always seem to temporarily lose a cotton ball in some poor pup’s ear before I can get hold of it again to fish it out. These Squeaky wipes have been a game changer. Now I have a pre-moistened wipe that is the perfect size for wiping those wrinkles and crevices around the base of the ear flap. The dogs tolerate this much better than the old way, and the wipes leave a pleasant scent. I also love them for cleaning the dogs’ faces between baths. For convenience alone, this has been my favorite product!
